Your privacy at Amavi
Privacy Policy
This Policy explains the information Amavi handles when you use the Service and the choices available to you.
Contact and support information →
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Amavi website, AI companion chat service, character creation tools, Gems wallet and related features (together, the “Service”). “Amavi,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the independently operated digital service made available under the Amavi name.
The Service is intended only for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly provide the Service to children.
2. Information we handle
The information we handle depends on the features you choose to use:
- Account and profile information, such as your email address, user ID, display name, avatar and optional profile details.
- Chat content and conversation state, including messages you send, AI-generated replies, chat history, memory settings and character interactions. This content is processed and stored so the chat and history features can work.
- Characters and other content you submit, such as names, images, descriptions, backgrounds, opening messages, tags, visibility choices and reports.
- Purchase records, including the selected product, order and payment status, payment-processor references, Gems balance and wallet entries. Amavi does not receive your full card or bank-account credentials.
- Technical and usage information needed to operate and secure the Service, such as IP address, browser and device information, request time, session and security identifiers, feature interactions and diagnostic information.
- Communications and reports you send to support or through the Service.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide the features you request, including account access, AI replies, chat history, optional memory, character publishing, Gems delivery and customer support.
We also use limited account, transaction, technical and usage information to secure the Service, prevent fraud and abuse, diagnose failures, comply with law and maintain product performance.
4. AI conversations
To generate a reply, Amavi sends the relevant character instructions, your current message and relevant recent conversation context to an AI model or model-hosting provider. This transfer is necessary to provide the chat response.
Private chats are not published to other users by default. Amavi does not sell private chat content or use it for advertising. Content included in a report may be reviewed to investigate that report, protect users or comply with law.
Please do not enter passwords, payment credentials, government identifiers, precise private addresses or other information you do not want processed by the Service and its AI provider.
5.1 Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), provided by Google, to measure visits, traffic sources, feature use and steps such as registration or purchase, and to improve the website. Google may process cookies and similar identifiers, browser and device information, approximate location, page URLs and titles, referral information, and interaction or transaction events.
Our custom page-view reporting replaces certain account-specific URL paths with general page categories and omits URL query strings. Our event mappings limit the information sent to Google. These measures reduce the data shared; they do not make all analytics data anonymous or prevent Google from receiving technical information when its script is loaded.
We disable advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalization and Google Signals in our GA4 integration. Google describes its processing of information from partner sites in the resources below.
5.2 Microsoft Clarity
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors navigate and interact with our website, identify usability problems and improve the experience. Clarity uses cookies and similar technologies and may process browser and device information, page and referral URLs, approximate location inferred from an IP address, clicks, taps, scrolling, interaction timing, page layout and diagnostic information.
Clarity provides behavioral measurements, heatmaps and session replay. A replay visually reconstructs activity on our website from page structure and interaction events; it is not a conventional screenshot or video recording of your entire device.
Before loading Clarity, we configure page-content masking to reduce the exposure of rendered text, including chat and profile text. Input content is subject to Clarity’s masking protections. We do not deliberately configure Clarity to capture passwords, payment credentials or private-chat text. Masking does not remove every type of technical or interaction data and is not a guarantee that every possible sensitive detail will be excluded.
We send Clarity a pseudonymous browser identifier to associate visits from the same browser. Within Amavi, this identifier may be linked to accounts used in that browser for troubleshooting and understanding product use. It is not a login credential, and this association means the data is not necessarily anonymous. We do not send your email address or account password through this identification feature.
Our integration disables advertising storage for Clarity. Microsoft processes information collected through Clarity under its applicable terms and Privacy Statement, which explain Microsoft’s uses and safeguards. Provider processing and retention may differ from our own account-data practices.
5.3 Analytics choices
You can use browser settings to delete or block cookies, and browser privacy tools to restrict third-party analytics scripts. Blocking cookies alone may not prevent all analytics requests. Blocking necessary cookies can affect sign-in and other service features.
For supported browsers, Google offers an Analytics opt-out add-on. This controls supported Google Analytics collection in that browser; it does not turn off Clarity or the information Amavi needs to operate the Service. Browser controls and extensions generally need to be managed separately on each browser and device.
For questions about analytics data or to exercise applicable privacy rights, contact our official support address. Deleting browser cookies does not itself delete information already held by Amavi or a provider. This Policy provides notice about our practices and does not replace any separate consent required by applicable law.
7. Retention and deletion
We keep account, character and conversation information while your account is active or while it is needed to provide the features you use. Transaction, security and dispute records may be retained longer where reasonably needed or required by law.
You may use available product controls or contact support to request deletion. A deleted item may first be removed from normal product view. Residual copies or related records may remain in backups or where retention is reasonably needed for security, fraud prevention, transactions, legal obligations or the rights of others.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent, or make a complaint to a privacy regulator.
You can manage available profile controls in the Service. For a privacy request, contact the official support address shown below. We may need to verify that the request relates to your account before acting on it.
9. Security and international processing
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Amavi and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we will use the required safeguards.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy when the Service, our providers or applicable law changes. We will publish the updated version with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required.
For questions or privacy requests, use the official support address shown below.
